Which tool do I need?
- You have a photo of a bill. Open the scanner, choose Photos to PDF, crop the page and export one PDF. Several photos become one multi-page document.
- You have a PDF and need a picture. Open the same scanner, choose PDF to images, and save pages as JPG or PNG, one at a time or as a ZIP.
- You want to check before saving. Both modes show a preview inside the page, with a separate download button, so nothing lands in your files by accident.
Why these tools run on your device
Most free PDF tools upload your file, convert it on a server and send it back. For a supplier bill, a rent agreement or a citizenship copy, that means your paper sits on someone else's computer even if it is deleted a minute later.
The tools here work differently. The conversion happens in the browser using Canvas and JavaScript, so there is no upload step, no storage bucket and no account. You can also keep using them with mobile data turned off.
- Nothing is sent to NanoKhata. Files are read from your device and written back as a download.
- Offline friendly. After the first visit, the browser keeps a cached copy of the page and its converters.
- No watermark, no page limit message, no upsell. The output file contains only your pages.
- Closing the tab clears the work. Scans live in memory while the page is open.
Paper a shop should scan
A kirana or general store collects paper all day. A phone photo plus one PDF per month is usually enough to stop the drawer from overflowing:
- Supplier bills and VAT invoices — the purchase record behind your stock.
- Delivery slips and order chits — proof of what arrived and what is still pending.
- Rent, electricity and internet receipts — fixed costs you will want at the end of the year.
- Cheque copies and bank slips — a dated image is easier to find than a folded paper.
- Warranty cards and guarantee slips — the shop copy customers ask for later.
Keep the paper and the khata together
A scan is a copy, not a record. If you want the bill to count in your books, enter it in your khata on the same date and file the PDF by month. NanoKhata keeps cash, QR, udharo and expenses in one place, in Nepali or English, and entries work offline too.
These guides go deeper on the paperwork side: tracking shop expenses, delivery slips, udharo khata and daily hisab.
Frequently asked questions
Are these tools free to use?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free, needs no account and adds no watermark. You only create a NanoKhata account if you want to record a scanned bill as a shop expense in the khata.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Each tool is a web page that runs in your browser. Open it on your phone or computer, and it keeps working offline after the first visit.
Where are my files stored?
In your browser's memory only. Photos and PDFs are never sent to NanoKhata or to another server, and closing the tab clears them.
Scan the bill, then record it. NanoKhata keeps your daily hisab, customer credit and expenses in one place.
